Stepping out for a cinematic evening,
Amanda Seyfried hit the red carpet at the 16th annual Hollywood Film Festival on
Monday (October 22).
The 26-year-old actress looked stunning
in a corseted red dress and metallic heels, as she posed for photographs before
heading inside.
Topping the list of honoree recipients at
this year’s gala were Bradley Cooper, who took home the “Hollywood Actor Award”
for his work in “Silver Linings Playbook;” Amy Adams, with the “Hollywood
Supporting Actress Award;” and Marion Cotillard, who nabbed the “Hollywood
Actress Award.”
Other stars also being recognized for
their work included Ben Affleck, who took home the “Hollywood Ensemble Acting
Award” for his work in “Argo;” Robert De Niro, who walked away with the
“Hollywood Supporting Actor Award;” and Quentin Tarantino accepted the
“Hollywood Screenwriter Award.”
According to the official website, “The
Hollywood Film Awards were created tohonor excellence in the art of filmmaking,
both in front of and behind the camera, and launch the awards
season.”
Though Jennifer Aniston rarely endorses
products, Jennifer Aniston has signed on as an investor and spokesperson for a
hair care company Living Proof.
Who better to talk about hair products
than a quality quaff icon. In the nineties, the "Friends" star's layered
hairstyle swept beauty salons across the United States, and "The Rachel" earned
its place in cosmetological history.
In an interview at the company's
headquarters, the 43-year-old actress talked about her many offers to become a
sponsor: "I have been approached many, many times. You want to be part of
something that's exciting and authentic."
CEO Jill Beraud said of the spokesperson
choice that "We believe that beauty and brains are the best formula. She
represents everything we represent as a brand."
As the stars gather together to take in
the lovely looks from Paris Fashion Week, Emma Stone took a break and enjoyed
the fresh French air on Thursday afternoon (October 4).
The 23-year-old actress rocked a grey
jacket with skinny jeans as she strolled through a local park with her gal
pal.
In related news, Miss Stone’s voice is
featured in the brand new trailer for “The Croods,” which released yesterday
(October 3).
“The Amazing Spider-Man” actress lends
her vocal talents to the film, which also features Nicolas Cage, Ryan Reynolds.
It is set to hit theaters on March 22, 2013.
Going about their separate agendas,
Rihanna and Chris Brown were both spotted making their ways around New York City
on Tuesday night (October 2).
The Bape t-shirt clad "Look at Me Now"
hitmaker was busy picking up girlfriend Karrueche Tran while the red hot
Barbadian beauty was photographed exiting a local recording studio and heading
back to her posh Big Apple hotel.
And while Chris and RiRi were apart on
this particular evening, new reports claim that the twosome got hot 'n heavy at
NYC nightspot Griffin earlier this week.
Tabloid sources tell that Brown arrived
with buddy Bow Wow while Rihanna later showed up and settled in at a separate
table.
However, as the alcohol flowed, Chris
ditched his posse to join the 24-year-old "We Found Love" songstress - who
supposedly proceeded to remove her former flame's shirt while then dancing and
engaging in a serious make-out session. Despite the serious PDA, the two left
the club separately around 4:00am.
Veering off track after a positive start,
Chris Brown is confirmed to have recently failed a drug test.
The "Kiss Kiss" hitmaker attended a
probation progress hearing on Monday (September 24) during which a judge noted
that the R&B singer tested positive for marijuana in a June 18th
urinalysis.
In Brown’s defense, he explained to his
probation officer that he had smoked in California (where he has a medical
marijuana card), but was given the test in Virginia, where marijuana is illegal
under any circumstances.
Getting a break, Judge Patricia Schnegg
concluded that she would not revoke Brown’s probation and said that she had
never initially ordered the singer to undergo mandatory drug testing.
Though Judge Schnegg let Chris off the
hook this time, she did give him a verbal warning, saying, “This is my advice to
you… You are not an average person who can sit in their living room and do what
you wanna do without anybody watching what you do. You are not only in the
public eye, but you are on probation,” adding, “I’m going to caution you that
you should be very mindful.”
Brown was also ordered to meet up with
his probation officer within 72 hours to discuss a difference in community
service hours, as prosecutors are claiming that the 23-year-old has 121 hours
left to complete, but his attorney Mark Geragos believes his star client is
closer to completion than what's being noted.
Waiting to catch a ride, Rihanna was
spotted sitting outside an apartment building in Westwood, CA on Monday
(September 17).
The “We Found Love” songstress looked
casually fab in a striped maxi dress and black sneakers as she applied a touch
of makeup before hopping into her chauffeured vehicle.
The sighting comes as it was just
announced that RiRi has received six nominations for this year’s MTV Europe
Music Awards - tying Taylor Swift for the most by any artist.
The Barbadian-born beauty will be vying
to take home trophies in some of the biggest categories including Best Female,
Best Song and Best Pop Artist when the ceremony takes place on November 11 at
Frankurt’s Festhalle.
Continuing on with their Queen’s Diamond
Jubilee Tour of Southeast Asia, Prince William and Kate Middleton paid a visit
to Hospis Malaysia today (September 13).
The Kuala Lumpur facility was beaming
with excitement as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge arrived to show some love
to the ailing children who reside there.
According to a report, Zakwan Anuar, a 15
year-old leukemia patient, actually postponed a blood transfusion in order to
ensure that he would get to meet the Royal couple.
As could be expected, Kate spent some
extra time with Anuar to chat and sign his birthday card, telling him, “You must
be very, very brave. Are you in pain? You’re a brave boy. Thank you so much for
coming to see me.”
After the visit, a source at the hospital
told press, “Zakwan is normally very sleepy and in pain, crying, almost giving
up hope, but today, my God, it was as if the leukemia had gone.”
