Continuing on with their Queen’s Diamond
Jubilee Tour of Southeast Asia, Prince William and Kate Middleton paid a visit
to Hospis Malaysia today (September 13).
The Kuala Lumpur facility was beaming
with excitement as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge arrived to show some love
to the ailing children who reside there.
According to a report, Zakwan Anuar, a 15
year-old leukemia patient, actually postponed a blood transfusion in order to
ensure that he would get to meet the Royal couple.
As could be expected, Kate spent some
extra time with Anuar to chat and sign his birthday card, telling him, “You must
be very, very brave. Are you in pain? You’re a brave boy. Thank you so much for
coming to see me.”
After the visit, a source at the hospital
told press, “Zakwan is normally very sleepy and in pain, crying, almost giving
up hope, but today, my God, it was as if the leukemia had gone.”
