The 41-year-old director is married to actress Liberty Ross, but was caught red handed in an adulterous scandal when he was photographed kissing "Snow White and the Huntsman" actress Kristen Stewart.
Stewart, at the time, was in a committed relationship of her own with fellow "Twilight" co-star Robert Pattinson. The two have reportedly both moved out of the L.A. mansion they shared.
Friends say the straying director's wife will forgive him. An insider reports, "She is prepared to give Rupert a second chance."
